One of the most satisfying things we do at Trailnet is teaching people of all ages to ride a bike safety and confidently. Whether you have young children looking to get started or didn’t learn yourself when you were their age, we can help.
Lessons for Children
Teaching your own children to ride is a really satisfying experience for all concerned but we realise for some that this doesn’t go smoothly and some professional help is required. Our patient, qualified instructors have helped hundreds of children to start cycling or to improve their skills and have considerable experience teaching children with behavioural or learning difficulties.
You can read below some comments from parents of children that have learned to ride with us:
“I just want to say a huge thank you to Trailnet, all the staff and particularly Jane, who is Matthew & James' instructor. They have grown in confidence & enjoy every second of their time on the bikes. Trailnet do a fantastic job of providing safe, professional lessons & educating the boys helping them become more safety conscious while enjoying the freedom cycling brings.” Jenny
“Our son is diagnosed on the Austism Spectrum and was very nervous and reluctant to cycle at all. However, with some well thought out lessons, encouragement and enthusiasm he really has discovered the joy of riding his bike. I cannot thank Trailnet enough - for not only teaching my son a wonderful skill but also fulfilling small hopes of his parents too. I can't recommend enough.”
Lessons for Adults
Many of us take cycling for granted and we sometimes forget that there are people who have never learned this skill and are missing out on the wonderful opportunities that cycling offers. Trailnet’s friendly instructors have helped young and young at heart to gain the confidence and skills to cycle for leisure and/or transport.
