Who’s it for?
Any and all ages – we only require that you can ride a bicycle before attempting our mountain biking obstacle course.
Activities
Cycle skills – come and tackle our exciting obstacle course under the guidance of our expert instructors
Inclusive Bike Demo – opportunity to try our selection of adult and child adapted bikes/trikes for those with balance and coordination issues
Woodland School – Learn woodland skills like campfire, den building, hammocks from ECC Parks Education rangers
Orienteering – local club (HAVOC) will be providing coaching and taster sessions where you use a map and compass to find marked locations on an orienteering course in the forest.
Geocaching – High-tech treasure hunt using handheld GPS units to find hidden caches in the forest
Nature Walk – Join our expert guide for a short walk highlighting the natural wonders of Thorndon Country Park.
