COMMUNITY PROJECTS
Trailnet has always engaged with our local communities to inspire and support people to become more active.
This outreach work has included cycle promotion activities at public, school and workplace events; campaigning and fundraising for improved cycle infrastructure; running bike build projects at youth clubs and community centres; leading bespoke group rides; presentations promoting cycling to schools and businesses; school-based cycle skills and bike polo sessions; and participating in various local authority health and activity forums.
Community Events
Trailnet’s fleet of novelty bikes, our pedal-powered smoothie bike, and our mobile Doctor Bike are all popular attractions at local community events.
See HERE for more information.
Bike Builds
Teaching children and adults to refurbish one of our donated bikes, which they then get to keep, has both educational, health, and practical benefits.
Cycle Brentwood
Bringing together local cyclists and local authority planners, engineers and administrators, Cycle Brentwood campaigns and fundraises for improved local cycle infrastructure.
For more information, see our dedicated Cycle Brentwood website
Cycle Skills Sessions
Our school or community-based sessions help children to improve their riding skills and improve confidence through a fun mix of team games and activities.

Bike Polo
Yes, it’s exactly what the name suggests: Polo with bikes instead of horses. It’s a great way for riders of all ages to enhance their riding. If you want an exciting, competitive activity for your school, college, youth group, or workplace, this is for you.
