WHO TRAILNET CAN HELP
Trailnet has so much to offer to young and not so young, with most of our activities suitable for mixed age groups:
ADULTS
Many adults have never learnt to ride a bike, so we offer lessons to get you started. For those who can ride, we have weekly off-road health rides for all abilities.
FAMILIES
Off-road cycling is a great family activity, and Thorndon Country Park and Thames Chase are beautiful, safe places to ride, with cycle hire and trails for all abilities.
Disability Groups
At Trailnet, we believe that almost everyone can benefit from physical activity and we do all we can to ensure that disabilities aren’t a barrier to participate in cycling and outdoor pursuits. Because people’s needs and limitations are so varied, we take an individual approach by providing bespoke services.
Saturday BikeKlubz
Our Saturday morning off-road sessions are for children and young adults with SEND, with group rides for those on two-wheeled bikes or trikes.
Family and friends are welcome to join in the fun.
Inclusive Bike Hire
Adult Supported Rides
Riding in the woods with a group of friends is an enjoyable and healthy way to spend an hour. We have the specialist equipment and support to cater for all young-at-heart adults.
We offer rides at Thorndon Cycle Centre, Brentwood; Thames Chase Forest Centre, Upminster; and Mayesbrook Park, Barking.

Schools & Colleges
Trailnet offers instructor-led rides for school and college groups at Thorndon Country Park. We supply bikes and helmets, so you just need to get to us. If you’d prefer, we can bring bikes to a venue of your choice.
We also offer on-site bike maintenance courses, cycle fun days, Doctor Bike sessions, assembly talks, and even cycle-related classes to reinforce your maths, science and engineering syllabuses.
Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
Local Authorities
Trailnet has always worked closely with local authorities on cycle promotion initiatives. Whether you’d like us to bring our Novelty Bikes to your community event, need support on planning cycle infrastructure, want to promote cycling in schools, or are planning to develop health and wellbeing programmes, we’re here to help.
With our expertise and resources, we can assist you with getting residents to become more active.
Community Events
Our Novelty Bikes and Smoothie Bike are always a big draw at fairs and family fun days. People enjoy trying out unusual machines or pedalling their way to a delicious fruit smoothie, but these can inspire them to cycle more.

Our fleet of unusual bikes are popular with all ages, so if you want a fun activity for your community event, school or business, we can bring these along to a venue of your choice.
