INCLUSIVE CYCLING
Trailnet believes that riding a bike can benefit everyone, but some people require additional help to access cycling. Our inclusive cycling programme has a range of adapted bikes/trikes and offers specialist support to people with various disabilities.
- Balance or co-ordination problems? We have tricycles for all ages.
- Paraplegia? Explore the woods on our motor-assist handcycles.
- Blind or partially sighted? Share a tandem or two-seater trike.
- Learning disabilities? Guided rides in a safe, traffic-free country park.
If you’d like more information about how we can help you or someone you support to cycle, just contact us and we’ll do all we can to assist.
Cycle For All
Our inclusive cycling sessions provide the specialist equipment and support to help people with disabilities and additional needs to cycle in a safe, supportive, attractive environment.
Sessions take place at Jim Peters Stadium in Mayesbrook Park every Tuesday between 10am and 3pm.

Inclusive Group Rides
If you want to bring a group for an inclusive ride, we can accommodate up to 12 (depending on equipment requirements) on a hire-only basis, with the option of a qualified ride leader to show you the best routes.
Independent Hire
For those who’d rather ride alone, or with a helper, you can hire bikes or trikes adapted to your requirements.
Carers ride for free.
Saturday Inclusive BikeKlubz
For children and young people with special educational needs and/or disabilities, we offer our inclusive off-road group ride every Saturday between 11am and 1pm.
We have two groups: one for those competent at riding a two-wheeled bike; the other for those still mastering a bike or requiring a trike.
Parents, carers, friends and siblings are welcome to join in.
